- Massage applied for general relaxation & stress relief
- Therapeutic massage for pain relief
- Pressure & techniques are tailored to your needs
Swedish Massage (relaxation):
Traditional techniques, full body massage of long gliding strokes, friction, kneading with stretching to create a calming and relaxing experience. Improves circulation, lowers blood pressure, relieves muscle tension - leaving you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. A healthy way to start your week or weekend.
Therapeutic Massage:
A Therapeutic massage incorporates a general Swedish Massage and adds deeper muscle tissue work to relieve pain from sore and achy muscles.
Mini Massage:
Swedish Massage with concentration on the neck, back and shoulders. A short but effective session designed for those that are pressed for time.
Deep Tissue Massage:
Deep tissue massage, aimed at the deeper tissues of muscle and fascia, uses many of the same movements and techniques as swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots.
Sports Massage:
* pre-event sports massage -- a short, stimulating massage 15 - 45 minutes before the event. It is directed toward the parts of the body that will be involved in the exertion.
* post-event sports massage -- given within an hour or two of the event, to normalize the body's tissues.
* restorative sports massage -- given during training to allow the athelete to train harder and with less injury.
* rehabilitative sports massage -- aimed at alleviating pain due to injury and returning the body to health.
Pregnancy (Prenatal) Massage:
Promotes relaxation, soothes nerves, and relieves strained back and leg muscles in expectant mothers. Pregnancy massage is especially benefical in the second and third trimesters, when the extra weight in your belly puts a strain on your back.
Fees:
$35 for 30 minutes
$50 for 60 minutes
$65 for 90 minutes
Payment is due at time of service. Cash or Check unless other arrangements are made in advance.
