Mystic Spray Tan Preparation Tips

What you should know BEFORE your Mystic Tan session:
Step 1 - Exfoliate your skin in bath or shower by massaging an exfoliant gel onto the skin with a washcloth, sponge or Loofah. Concentrate on rough areas such as elbows, knees, and ankles, then rinse clean. This removal of dead skin cells will give you a fresh, even surface to tan, which will increase the life and evenness of your Mystic Tan. Try MysticReady Exfoliating Body Wash. Also, do not shave or wax immediately before your Mystic Tan session.
Step 2 - Always hydrate your skin after exfoliation by using HyperMoist Instant Moisturizing Lotion. Applying this lotion in between your Mystic Tan sessions will increase the life and luster of your tan. Avoid using lotion Immediatly after your Mystic Tan session.
Step 3 - Be sure to wear clothes that are loose fitting and flip-flops to your Mystic Tan Session. If you have long hair, you may want to consider wearing your hair in a pony tail or bring a pony tail holder to put your hair up into the hair net.

Note:
• For best results, do not use any perfumes, deodorant or make-up, and the only moisturizing lotion recommended prior to your session is the HyperMoist Instant Moisturizing Lotion.  If it's convenient, you may also shower in one of our facilities' private showers before your session.

• If you want to tan in a tanning bed prior to your Mystic Tan session, we recommend using HyperMoist Instant Moisturizing Lotion for best results.

• We DO NOT recommend that you use any self tanning or bronzing lotions with the Mystic Tan as these may comprimise the results from your Mystic Tan.

• Waxing or shaving should be done several hours before your Mystic Tan Session.

What you should know AFTER your Mystic Tan session:.
• It takes between 6 and 24 hours for the Mystic Tan to fully develop.

• We recommend that you DO NOT shower, sweat, swim, or be in the rain for at least 4 hours after the Mystic Tan session even longer than 4 hours is better yet.

• When you take your first shower after the Mystic, you may see some discoloring (which is the bronzer tint) in the water. This is a normal process and will not affect your Mystic Tan.

• Your Mystic Tan will last approximantely 5-7 days depending on your skin type and how well you maintain it. Note: Using MysticLife will help to extend the life of our Mystic Tan.

• After 24 hours you can do the Mystic again in order to receive a deeper, richer color. We also recommend the Mystic Glo to get that luminous, bronzing shimmer look.
